2 April 2026 ● Let's meet

Christelle Lays, a professional make-up artist, meets the students at Cinécréatis.

A workshop devoted to natural make-up designed to enhance the expressiveness of actors’ faces. The workshop also explores make-up techniques that can be used to imitate and create spectacular effects.

A brilliant career

Christelle Lays is driven by passion. A former sales rep for a major cosmetics brand, the young make-up artist stands out for her creativity and talent. She was soon noticed by the fashion world and recognised for the work she produced for models on the catwalks of fashion week.

She put her heart and soul into her work in a wide range of sectors. Soon known for her television appearances, she was doing make-up for magazine models and music and film celebrities.

A taste for sharing

Close to the public, for whom she organises themed workshops. Christelle Lays runs a YouTube channel where she shares her advice with the public. Now she’s coming to meet Cinécréatis students to pass on her knowledge. A regular visitor to film studios, Christelle Lays is organising a workshop to teach students how to do realistic make-up and special effects.

During the workshop, she will teach them how to create the natural make-up that will help the actors to convey to the audience the emotions that are the strength of a great film. Joy, agitation, depression or elation are revealed on the face. Christelle Lays shows students how to imitate these characteristics thanks to her skilful make-up techniques and a precise choice of cosmetics.
