A hands-on immersion in production issues
Each extract involves a real work of analysis and reconstruction: sets, lighting, setting, directing the actors… Nothing is left to chance. The students have to understand the director’s intentions in order to capture the essence of the play.
Filming takes place in the school's studio, with professional equipment provided, while post-production takes place in dedicated editing suites, enabling the teams to work in conditions close to those in the industry.
Ambitious projects on all campuses
Once again this year, the various cities rose to the challenge with some outstanding works:
-
Bordeaux: immersion in the world of Fight Club.
-
Lyon: a double challenge with La Haine and 12 hommes en colère.
-
Montpellier: adaptation of a sequence from The Count of Monte Cristo.
-
Nantes: between contemporary romance with L’Amour ouf and dramatic tension inspired by The Last of Us.
Through this demanding exercise, students develop their technical rigour, artistic sense and ability to work as part of a team – essential skills for their future careers in the film and audiovisual industries.
