Career Center of the Réseau Écoles Créatives
The Career Center brings together all the initiatives deployed by the schools in the Écoles Créatives network to create links between students, former graduates and the professional world. It offers ongoing support throughout each student’s course, organises interaction with the professional world and supports students from their first year of training right through to the start of their working lives.
Discovering yourself for better orientation
The first aspect of the Career Center places the student at theheart of the support provided. The aim is clear: to help them get to know themselves better, to identify their strengths and areas for improvement so that they can present themselves in the best possible way.
Thanks to the Bloom Passport, individual and group sessions on CVs, application letters, professional attitude and using LinkedIn, students are gradually shaping their identity in the world of work.
Deciphering professions and business sectors
The second part of the Career Center offers an insight into the professional world. Students discover how to interpret the needs of studios, agencies, publishing houses and companies that are hiring in the creative sectors.
Using Bloom, they structure their professional environment, explore the various professions and forms of practice, and identify the skills in demand. Online conferences and targeted workshops, exchanges with companies, morning and evening meetings on the sites, as well as testimonials from former students, give them the opportunity to expand their network of contacts and test their ambitions against the reality of the field.
Taking concrete action and seizing opportunities
The third part of the Career Center helps to convert this preparation into tangible opportunities. Students learn how to structure their application process, identify the right contacts and adapt their profile to recruiters’ requirements.
The Grimpplatform brings together internship and job offers and makes it easier to organise the search. Online sessions on oral presentations, personal accounts, job interviews, entrepreneurship and legal status are also available. Special support is offered in terms of digital visibility, professional social networking and participation in recruitment forums, to promote professional integration and mobility, both within France and internationally.
A connecting space for alumni and companies
The Career Center is supported by an ever-expanding network of alumni and professional partners. Graduates are invited to give talks, share their experiences, take part in online conferences or support new intake as mentors.
On the business side, our teams develop and maintain a database of qualified contacts, circulate their proposals via Grimp and set up specific opportunities for exchange, be they themed meetings, webinars or friendly events on campus. The aim is twofold: to give recruiters privileged access to the talent trained in our establishments and to increase the number of internships, work-study and recruitment opportunities for our students and young graduates.
Bloom and the Lab, two other pillars of the Career Center
The Career Center does not operate independently. It is part of the educational environment of the Ecoles Créatives.
The Bloom system organises individualised follow-up for each student, using a skills passport, a logbook and a reflective portfolio to enhance interviews, workshops and applications.
The Ecoles Créatives Labkeeps a constant eye on changes in the creative industries, coordinates events such as Impact Month and creates exchanges between researchers, artists and studios. The Lab‘s outputs enrich the content of online conferences, professional meetings and the resources available in the Career Centre.
