It is sometimes under duress that artistic creativity reveals itself, even exploding to become an asset, contrary to what you might think…
When containment rhymes with creativity…
There are plenty of examples of this around the world, and many artists and artists’ collectives have let their creativity shine through during confinement, including Cinécréatis with“School must go one“, which enabled us to keep in touch with our students, and the “Fake Sound Challenge”, “Mon set up de confiné”.
Photo shoots
At the request of Joseph Barbereau, head of the Cinécréatis section in Lyon, first-year cinema students took part in a photo shoot during the confinement period.
In addition to the confinement, the students had to use only their smartphones and no professional cameras.
The aim was to show them what could be achieved with just a mobile phone and applications for shooting in manual mode.
If ever there was a need to show that creativity can flourish in the face of constraint, here’s a fine example: see the photos selected.
Congratulations and thank you to the following students for taking part: Adrien CAPSIE, Alexandre VERSTUYFT, Alizée CHARLEVILLE, Désidéria INTHAVONG, Kelien RICHARD, Lisa MORETTI, Louis PERROT, Marine COURDIOUX, Mathilde RICHIDE, Mathis JOUVE, Mathis LUNOT, Oksana BROSSARD and Vincent VIEL.
