The CinéCréatis years

“It gave me a real-life work experience, but also enabled me to start developing my network and meet lots of directors, editors and producers. That’s how I was able to meet the founder of Jungler, a production company for 3D animated feature films and commercials, associated with Wanda Productions, who offered me the chance to work on a feature-length 3D animated film as an assistant editor.

As far as her projects are concerned, Jade is currently writing a new short film, as she would like to move into directing at a later stage. The short film ‘O.C.D’, which she made as part of her degree course, is currently touring festivals. It won Best Short Film at the London Independent Film Awards and was selected for this year’s Oasis Short Film Festival in New York.

“The CinéCréatis course gave me the knowledge I needed to bridge the gap between different sectors within the audiovisual industry and to better understand my own work. It’s by learning about the work of others that you can be more effective in your own work.
