SYNOPSIS
VALITCHKA is a graduation film (FFDE) made in 2022 by our students as part of their training.
Synopsis
This story was inspired by real events.
1941, Eastern Ukraine. Fleeing the fighting, Vera and her daughter Valentina have been walking tirelessly for several weeks in search of their family, of whom they have no news.
of whom they have no news. One day, as they seek shelter for the night, they come across a unit of German soldiers. Alone with these enemies, mistrust reigns. But once the fear and prejudice have passed, Valentina and her mother realise through this forced cohabitation that the German soldiers are ultimately like them, forced to endure a situation they did not want.
