At CinéCréatis, we’re convinced that a successful training programme also involves memorable encounters. Encounters that open up new perspectives, challenge certainties and inspire the desire to go further. With this in mind, we regularly invite well-known personalities, as well as those who are shaping the cinema of today and tomorrow, to come and talk to our students.
Because these moments are much more than just talks: they inspire, give confidence, awaken vocations and support each student in building his or her career. Masterclasses, conferences and meetings are all part of a living learning experience, deeply rooted in reality and experience.
Meeting with a master of audiovisual writing
It was with this in mind that Abdel Raouf Dafri recently walked through the doors of the Montpellier campus. An acclaimed screenwriter and director, he has established himself as a key figure in the French audiovisual industry, with some outstanding works that have reached a wide audience.
In front of the students, he spoke sincerely about his career, from beginnings to international success, sharing the key stages of a career in audiovisual writing. Unfiltered and generous, he offered a concrete vision of the profession, punctuated by anecdotes from film shoots and invaluable advice.
