Chtiiing festival Nantes samoa

From 28 to 31 May 2026, the chtiiing festival will be rocking the Ile de Nantes with a new edition under the banner of “Regeneration”. Conceived as a major event dedicated to contemporary creativity, every year the festival brings together artists, students, professionals, studios, schools and the curious around artistic and cultural experiences open to all. Supported by Nantes Métropole and Samoa, Chtiiing has established itself in just a few years as a key event in Nantes’ cultural and creative industries.

For four days, conferences, screenings, workshops, immersive installations, exhibitions and encounters will be taking place at various venues across the city. The event is a celebration of creativity focused on new technologies, emerging narratives and contemporary issues. This year’s edition, 2026, will focus on ways of reinventing the way we create, transmit and imagine the future through art, digital technology and cultural innovation.

Cinécréatis is proud to be taking part in this new edition through a screening dedicated to the creations of our students. This programme is part of the “Emerging Generation: Tomorrow’s Nuggets” sequence, a special event devoted to new generations of creators in cinema, video games, motion design and digital creation.

The screening will take place at Halles 1&2 on Thursday 28 May 2026, from 10.30am to 5.30pm. Through this selection of films, Cinécréatis will be highlighting the diversity of formats explored at the school: fiction, visual experimentation, documentary, advertising and graduation films.
