Flick is an organisation that grew out of the culturally involved student associations in Groningen (Netherlands). Flicks is a film festival that gives national and international students and student filmmakers the opportunity to take part in a stimulating and fun initiative. There is no set theme for participating.
During the festival, the jury will meet to award the best film. The aim is to raise students’ awareness of what others can achieve through film. Short films offer an opportunity to see the world from a different angle, based on other cultural contexts.
The 9th edition of the festival will take place on 14, 15 and 16 March in Groningen, the Netherlands.
