High school students plunge into the world of cinema and audiovisual media
On 11 and 12 December 2025, over 300 students from Montpellier, Lodève, Sète, Sérignan and Perpignan will have the opportunity to take part in workshops organised by CCI in partnership with Midi Libre and CinéCréatis. The aim of these meetings is to introduce young people to the world of cinema and the audiovisual industry, through a fascinating workshop on motion capture.
Organised in an 80 m² space, the workshops will last 30 minutes and will be attended by 15 to 20 students per session.
Each workshop will combine hands-on experience with an introduction to the industry: students will be able to try their hand at motion capture, while at the same time benefiting from a pitch on the industry, giving them a better understanding of the different professions linked to this technology and the possible career paths in the audiovisual sector.
Raising young people's awareness of creative and technological professions
Thanks to this scheme, the young participants will not only learn the technical basics of motion capture, but will also be able to envisage career opportunities in the film and audiovisual industries, all in a dynamic and interactive environment.
