Between dreams and spirituality: "Pride and Mourning" by Cinécréatis students
At the end of their first year at Cinécréatis, a number of students produced a short film entitled Orgueil et Deuil. This end-of-year project testifies to their creative investment and their desire to tackle universal themes such as loss and bereavement.
The film follows the journey of a bereaved mother on a quest that leads her to question her own grief and her relationship with the disappearance of her son. Through this story, the students have created a work imbued with sensitivity and spirituality.

Visually, Pride and Grief oscillates between realism and more dreamlike moments, reflecting the emotional state of the main character. The direction favours a contemplative atmosphere and meticulous aesthetics.
The film was shot at the Pagode de la Boulaye, adding a symbolic and cultural dimension to the film and reinforcing its spiritual atmosphere.
Lasting 5′ 11 minutes, this mini-short film offers a poetic reflection on life and death, and highlights the creativity of Cinécréatis students.
