Screening of the film Moïra by the KineKima association (alumni of the class of 2019)
Former Cinécréatis students from the class of 2019 invite us to discover their latest project: Moïra, a triptych of short films produced by the KineKima association.
Founded in 2024 by seven film buffs they met in film school at Cinécréatis Nantes, KineKima is an independent film association that champions ambitious projects despite a limited production budget. With Moïra, its members took the bold step of setting off to shoot in Greece, on the island of Naxos, with a team of 25 people to make three films with distinct genres but linked by common themes, notably that of death.
Three films, three worlds
The triptych is made up of :
Thysia: a fantastic horror film following Konstantina, who attempts a resurrection rite after the unexplained suicide of his wife.
Apostolis: a satirical comedy about an old Greek shepherd who meets French tourists disembarking from a cruise liner.
Ataraxia: a post-apocalyptic drama following Mila, who returns to her parents’ abandoned village after a devastating pandemic.
After a preview in Vincennes and a screening in Massy, the Moïra team will present the film at a new screening open to the public:
Cinéma Lutétia, Saint-Herblain (44), Saturday 14 February at 2.30pm
Screening in the presence of the film team (production, directors and actors)
