A commercial for Nantes University Hospital
Third-year students at the CinéCréatis school in Nantes have rallied around a project that is both ambitious and meaningful: the production of an advertising spot for the Nantes University Hospital, as part of a campaign to raise funds to support the hospital and its nursing staff.
The film highlights the day-to-day life of Marine, a caring young nurse who works with children suffering from cancer. After dark, in the calm of a paediatric ward, the camera follows this devoted and tender figure, embodying the discreet but essential commitment of the nursing staff.
“Support the carers, donate to the hospital of tomorrow”.
Told through the voice-over of Fanny, Marine’s childhood friend and the director of the ad, this story is a blend of personal insight and sincere tribute. Far from the institutional rhetoric, the narration adopts an intimate and accessible tone, underlining the deep bond between the two young women and the emotion aroused by their vocation.
The campaign aims to make donors aware of the importance of their support, through a film that is touching, sober and aesthetically pleasing, in which the mental strength and humanity of the nursing staff are brought to the fore.
The project, which combines technical expertise, artistic commitment and social impact, will be broadcast this year from 23 June on France 3Pays de la Loire and other regions of France at 8.00pm.
