This summer, take part in the CinéCréatis summer courses!
Do you dream of going behind the scenes in the film industry and making your own film? This summer, CinéCréatis is opening the doors to its campuses for an exceptional week-long immersion programme dedicated to audiovisual enthusiasts.
From 6 to 10 July 2026, sixth-formers and students looking to change direction can enjoy a unique experience by taking part in the CinéCréatis summer courses held at the campuses in Bordeaux, Lyon, Montpellier and Nantes. The perfect opportunity to discover careers in film and the audiovisual sector through a hands-on project, supervised by industry professionals.
An immersion at the heart of filmmaking
Over five days, participants will discover every stage of film production: scriptwriting, pre-production, storyboarding, location scouting, filming, editing and post-production. They will also have access to professional equipment provided by the school: cameras, lighting, sound recording equipment, editing software and special effects.
The aim? To take an idea from concept to screen by producing a real collective audiovisual project and to develop creativity whilst discovering the realities of the profession.
Programmes tailored to each campus
Bordeaux: Make a short film from start to finish
On the Bordeaux campus, participants will take on the challenge of turning an idea into a film in just one week. From screenwriting to sound design, they will learn how to tell a story through images and sound, whilst gaining an introduction to filmmaking techniques.
Lyon: discover all the ins and outs of a film shoot
In Lyon, the course will give participants the opportunity to be involved in every stage of filmmaking: writing, directing, acting, filming and editing. An immersive experience designed to give an understanding of how an audiovisual production works.
Montpellier: Make a documentary at the heart of the street art scene
The Montpellier campus is offering a unique experience centred on the making of a documentary about Salamech, an artist and graffiti artist from Montpellier. In partnership with the FEAT Festival, participants will follow his creative process and help produce a documentary film. There is also a bonus in store for the trainees: an invitation to the FEAT Festival on 14 August at the Théâtre de la Mer in Sète.
Nantes: experience a real film set
In Nantes, budding filmmakers will discover the various stages involved in making a short film, from scriptwriting and directing to filming. A fully immersive experience designed to help them understand the mechanics of filmmaking.
