Cult theme songs reinterpreted in motion design
In their second year, students take motion design classes. One of their teachers, Thibaut Miossec, decided to give them a fun and creative way of practising the discipline. The exercise consisted in reproducing the artistic direction of a film title, so that it remained clear and immediately recognisable, despite the presence of the title ‘Cinécréatis’ in place of the name of the original film.
Cult universes as inspiration
To carry out this exercise, the students used well-known films and series, or production companies with strong and immediately identifiable visual universes. Drawing on these emblematic references, they explored different graphic styles, rhythms and moods, producing numerous examples that demonstrate their ability to analyse and transcribe a visual identity while bringing their own creative sensibility to bear.
