The Creative Campus in Montpellier finally opened its doors for the new academic year. CinéCréatis moved in with three other institutions. A brand-new school with state-of-the-art equipment to give students the best learning conditions.

A brand new campus at the heart of Montpellier

Month after month, stone after stone, the Creative Campus in Montpellier finally became a reality able to open and welcome new dwellers. After several years in Nantes and an opening in Lyon in 2017, the school settles to the South of France to join the Creative Campus; built on the former military site of EAI (Infantry School) in the city. This long-neglected neighbourhood is transforming to become the forefront of cultural and creative industries.

The new facilities also house three other schools:

  • IPESAA (School of Design)
  • ESMA (School of Design)
  • ETPA (School of Game Design)

Over 900 students are attending daily.

A state-of-the-art equipment!

Everything is there for students to make the best of their course in a 16,000m2 modern building with the latest state-of-the-art professional equipment making it a place of excellence and efficiency in a unique context, with the Mediterranean Sea on your doorstep.

Students learn in modern classrooms fitted with the latest IT equipment, latest generation cameras, auditoriums, sounds studio, editing booths, 600m2 studio set, incubator, fablab… There are also enjoyable dwelling areas with a spacious vestibule furnished in a Scandi vibe set to become exhibitions spaces, a restaurant, a gym and a city stadium rooftop. And of course, student accommodations right above the Creative Campus!

CinéCréatis establishes itself as a contemporary school offering a place to live and study encouraging the development and stimulation of students’ creativity.
