I AM CURRENTLY ON LOCKDOWN AT MY PARENTS AND NEED TO COMMUTE TO SCHOOL FOR EXAMS, BUT IT IS MORE THAN 100 KMS AWAY: HOW DO I PROCEED?

WHAT ARE THE PLANNED HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES FOR OUR RETURN TO CLASS IN PERSON?

  • Floor marking outside and inside the schools to highlight the physical distance to maintain (1m),
  • Establish a one-way system inside the schools to minimize crossing path and chances of contacts between the people on site,
  • A reminder of these measures and preventive gestures through posters and daily announcements,
  • Adapt the class schedules on sites,
  • On the day of the oral exam, provide a category 1 cloth face covering (designed for public use) and a shield visor. The student will have to keep and maintain this equipment (with frequent washing of the masks and cleaning the visor). This equipment must be kept for potential use at the start of the next academic year,
  • Put in place daily temperature checks with contactless thermometers. In case of abnormally high temperature, the person will be sent home immediately with recommendation to contact a doctor,
  • Beyond the daily maintenance still happening inside our schools, a specific disinfection protocol has been put in place.
    It includes:

    • Hydroalcoholic gels and soaps dispensers accessible to all; across all our buildings,
    • A deeper cleaning of sanitary facilities and points of contacts (such as handrails, doorknobs, light switches) every 2 hours by a dedicated staff with a logbook,
    • Disinfectant mist sprayed, at least once a day, in all the classrooms and communal areas by sanitizing professionals.

Internship

ARE INTERNSHIPS CANCELLED? ARE THEY MANDATORY?

Internships are maintained. They can happen where possible. You can attend your internship if the hosting organisation allows it. The health and safety situation is complex and we understand every student will not be able to find an internship in the current conditions. If your internship is shortened, or you can not find one, it will not affect the validation of your degree.
