This October, the CinéCréatis 2020 promotion’s films are still on track with a few worthy accolades!
Like every month, despite a small delay this time, check out the selected opuses. Certainly, this October was fruitful for the 2020 graduates with several overseas accolades:

- “Premis’20 Animalcoi” Days
- 22nd FesticineKids Festival in Cartagena (Colombia)
- Bogocine – Bogota Film Festival
- ROS Film Festival
Buenos Aires / Paris Short-Films Evening
Superbot, directed by Emmanuel Pierrat, Pierre-André Fontaine and Rémy Leroy, was selected for this Buenos Aires / Paris 2020 Short-Films Evening !
In these unprecedented circumstances, the festival was maintained in a fully digital version. Many thanks to them!
About the festival
This festival was created to promote and support the French-Argentinian cinematographic cooperation through a cultural exchange culminating with this unique event which unites two cultures during one projection.
“Premis’20 Animalcoi” Days
Set in Spain, the Animalcoi festival also selected Superbot. Focusing on animation, the festival took place on the 13th, 14th and 15th November in Alcoi, Alicante province.
About the festival
Animalcoi established itself as a reference when it comes to animation festivals and a rendez-vous for all the animation fans. Organised and supported by the city of Alcoi, this festival happens over 3 days dedicated to the art of animation which is nowadays a successful industry too. In their program of activities: workshops, talks, projections and a lot more!
22nd FesticineKids Festival in Cartagena (Colombia)
For its 22nd edition, the FesticineKids Festival in Cartagena (Colombia) selected Superbot. Due to Covid-19, the festival will happen exclusively online from 17th to 22th November 2020.
About the festival
FesticineKis is a Colombian festival dedicated to a young audience. This year, their motto was “La Paz esta en ti” (Peace is within you), inviting directors to explore this theme and bring forward characters initiating change around them, harmony and peace makers.
Created in 2008 by the FesticineKids foundation, this festival was born from a will to educate children suffering from poverty in Colombia and the whole of South America.
Bogocine – Bogota Film Festival
For this 37th edition, 2 Cinécréatis films were nominated in the young audience category: once more Superbot from Emmanuel Pierrat, Pierre-André Fontaine and Rémy Leroy, which knows a definite success overseas, and Moustaco, directed by Justine Goaziou and Samantha Vié.
About the festival
Organised from the 21st to 28th October, Bogocine festival is set in Bogota. Created in 1984, it showcases young talents from the Colombian cinema industry but also films produced in other South American countries, Spain, France or Italy. Looking for new talents, they scope schools for the official selection.
ROS Film Festival
Last, but not least : Superbot, once again was nominated at ROS (Robotic Online Short) Film Festival. The film is currently competing in semi-finals which could result in winning a sweet Prize!
About the festival
This is the ongoing 3rd edition of ROS Film Festival. First ever international online competition for short science fiction films on robots, this festival is like no other! A chance to look at productions centred around new technologies, artificial intelligence and more generally robotics.
