Guillaume Gravier and Michel Satorra in top form for Le Lorax!

To mark the end-of-year festive season and the video release of the animated film ‘The Lorax’, adapted from the works of Dr Seuss (The Grinch, Horton) by Chris Renaud and screenwriters Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio (Despicable Me), we would like to give a special mention to Guillaume Gravier and Michel Satorra (Third year, class of 2009/10), who are both credited in the film.

Computer graphics artists at Mac Guff in Paris, they worked from August 2011 to February 2012 on the animation of the fur (cloth, hair & fur simulation) of this sullen and hilarious creature, who fights cynically to protect nature. After working (Layout 3D Melscript) on the second season of the series ‘Le Petit Nicolas’ (Special TV Series Prize at Annecy 2011), Michel has now joined Quantic Dream in Montreuil as Hair/Cloth Artist on the development of a video game.
