Initially a graphic-video designer, the young man joined Mikros Image at the end of a 3-month internship. ” It enabled me to build up a network “, he tells us.
Then came the Canadian breakaway, the young man went back to Mikros Image in Montreal as a VFX supervisor, where was entrusted with a specific project, the film “Stronger”, for which he took over the VFX supervision of shooting and post-production. He finally decided to move there and joined the Mr.X. company.
Damien recently supervised a French-American series “The Truth about the Harry Quebert Affair”. On a daily basis, Damien refines the technique essential to evolve in this profession. Decoding, understanding, testing, this is what he has learnt from his training. A successful recipe.
He is currently working on a horror film adapted from Stephen King’s novel “Cemetery” which should be released in spring 2019.
