This is the first meeting between FBI trainee Clarice Starling (originally played by American actress Jodie Foster, played here by Elisa Laruelle) and the psychopath Hannibal Lecter (played by the actor Anthony Hopkins, played here by Richard Taconné).

Iconic scene of the meeting between Clarice and Hannibal

The sequence takes place in prison, in front of Hannibal’s cell, and lasts about 2 minutes.

We chose this iconic sequence from The Silence of the Lambs directed by the American director, producer and scriptwriter Jonathan Demme in 1991 because it is the first meeting between Hannibal and Clarice.
